One of the elections that takes places on Thursday 6 May is for Keevil Parish Council and there are 9 candidates standing for 7 seats (you will have 7 votes, one for each seat). The official Statement of Persons Nominated for the parish election is published by Wiltshire Council here – Keevil is on page 201.
There are many parishioners new to the village since the last contested parish council elections in 2013, and it has been said how useful it would be to have more information about those standing. So, in the interests of due impartiality and proportionate coverage, each candidate was offered the space for a photograph and up to 500 words – click on the linked names below to read each individual personal statement. n.
You can navigate to the candidates pages at any time via the village website – go to Election 2021: Candidates for Keevil Parish Council, or use the drop-down menu under Parish Matters along the top links, or just click on the Parish Matters pic/link under the home page banner.
Postal vote packs are currently being sent out to people who have applied to vote by post. Wiltshire Council suggest that you post these back as soon as possible when you have received them, rather than wait until polling day and attending the polling station to hand them in.
A list of all candidates can be found on Wiltshire Council election pages:

Measures will be in place at the polling stations to keep you as safe as possible while you vote, including hand sanitiser available, one way system, protective screens at the check-in desk. Please also to remember to bring your own pen or pencil to vote and a mask (unless you’re exempt).
