SOUP AND PUD LUNCH: Saturday 14th January 2023, 12 – 2pm
What more do you need to lift your spirits on a cold January morning? Come and warm the cockles of your heart with friends and neighbours at the New Years Soup & Pudding lunch in the Village Hall from mid-day until 2pm on Saturday 14th January, with a nice hot bowl of homemade soup (with a bread roll and butter) and a tasty pudding, all washed down with a tea or coffee, for the bargain price of £5.00 per head (all profits go to the Church Restoration Fund).
You can bring your own drinks if you wish to supplement your lunch. There will also be a raffle. Tickets available from Geoff West 01380 870425 or g.west3@pobroadband.co.uk
LAUNCH OF ADVENT WINDOWS & LIGHTS: 6.30pm Friday 2nd December 2022
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! and on Friday evening 2nd December there will be mulled wine and mince pies at Pyatts Corner. Come along at 6.30pm and join us to celebrate the start of Christmas 2022 – let’s make this the year we truly light up Keevil and celebrate our lovely village together.
CHURCH CHRISTMAS COFFEE MORNING: 10am Saturday 3rd December 2022
The annual Christmas-themed Church Coffee Morning is back this year, in the village hall from 10am – 12noon: Coffee and mince pies, raffle and much more, raising money for the upkeep and day-to-day running of St Leonard’s Church
FAMILY CHRISTINGLE SERVICE: 3.30pm Sunday 4th December 2022
During the service at St Leonard’s, children receive a lighted Christingle. Do join in, everyone is welcome! Tea is served after the service.
FIRST TUESDAY: 2.30pm Tuesday 6th December 2022
In the village hall from 2.30 – 4pm – come and join friends and neighbours for a cup of tea or coffee, some great cake, mince pies, and lots of warm conversation – Post Office also open!.
CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTS: 5.30pm Saturday 10th December 2022
The lights on the Christmas tree outside the village hall will be switched on at 5.30pm. There will be singing of carols, and a glass of mulled wine and mince pies in the Hall afterwards. The time has been set early so that children can come along and also see their works of art on the tree. Donations for refreshments will be given to Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
BREAKFAST IN CHURCH CHRISTMAS SPECIAL: 9.30am Saturday 17th December 2022
A special Christmas Breakfast which will, naturally, feature all your favourite Christmas Carols, and some of the more popular Christmas songs, to get you fully charged for the season! We will be offering our usual Bacon or Sausage rolls with tea or coffee, but in addition we will have mulled wine and a mince pie to add to your breakfast treat. All for £3.00 per head (all profits go to the Church Restoration Fund).
So, don your Christmas jumpers, your reindeer antlers, Christmas pudding earrings, and anything else seasonal, and come along and join us for breakfast and a good old fashioned Christmas carol sing-a-long. We will start the event slightly later, and run from 9.30 until 11.30am – no need to book, just come along and enjoy!
CAROL SERVICE: 6.30pm Monday 19th December 2022
A Candlelit Carol Service will be held in St Leonard’s Church on Monday 19th December at 6.30pm, with wine and nibbles afterwards.
CAROL SINGING AROUND THE VILLAGE: 6pm Tuesday 20th December 2022
Carol singers are invited to assemble outside the Village Hall at 6pm on Tuesday 20th December, from where we set off on our annual carol singing adventure round the village. The walk will not be too long, stopping at most of the usual places.
No collections are made and families, children and adults are most welcome to come along. A torch will be useful 🙂
NEW YEARS EVE PARTY Saturday 31st December 2022 from 8pm
