BUZZ ROUNDUP

Welcome back to BUZZ Roundup – a quick update of anything that’s changed on our village website recently and a reminder of events coming up soon.

The Walking Group gallery has been updated with a few new images from our January stroll on the Bedwyn Brail, and the draft minutes from the last Parish Council meeting are now available here. Plus we’ve added a new page to the Local Services section for the Trowbridge Area Community Link Scheme, so head on over there for more details.

Coming up…

•  Tea & Chat Tuesday 5th February from 2.30pm in the village hall – catch up with friends and neighbours over cake – and pop in to the Post Office too if you need to.
• The Art Group has a special event on 6th February with local artist Ann Swan. Anyone who does not normally attend the group is welcome, but please call Pat Tucker first – all details on the Art Group page.
• Barbara Lewendon is leading a fabulous walk from Lower Woodford to Old Sarum on 13th February, details on the Walking Group page
• And don’t forget, if you want to join the trip to the Bristol Hippodrome in July to see the award-winning CALENDAR GIRLS – THE MUSICAL, then get in touch with Rachel Howe – the final deadline for booking and payment is Friday 15th February! Details on the Theatre Group page…

Save the Date! Wednesday 22nd May 2019

One for the ladies in particular, although any gentlemen in need of extra brownie points would also do well to pop this date in their diary! Rachel Howe has arranged for Boutique In a Bus to park up on the Little Martins drive for the afternoon and into early evening.  Afternoon tea and cakes in aid of Dorothy House will be served while you browse quality Italian clothes, handbags and jewellery. More details will follow in due course.
