And we have news! And events! Not many, admittedly, but we take our excitement where we can these days 🙂
Following Government guidelines, the Ramblers Association have offered instruction to walking groups for COVID-safe walks, enabling them to start meeting again. With this is mind, the Walking Group are considering a circular 4m walk through footpaths and fields on Wednesday 11th November, meeting at the Poplars in Wingfield. A group lunch is not planned, but individuals are free to make their own arrangements.
Numbers will be limited to 15 in a group and a strict protocol will apply. You will need to confirm if you want to walk – please email Geoff West on g.west3@pobroadband.co.uk – spaces will be on a first-come basis. Further details and updates will appear on the Walking Group page.
Eric Lepine’s French Pop-up Takeaway comes to Keevil…
We are BUZZING at the announcement of a POP-UP TAKEAWAY outside the village hall from 5.30-7.30pm on Saturday 7th November! Pauline Bennett has been in touch about this year’s Poppy Collection for the Royal British Legion:
For various reasons, there will not be a door-to-door collection for poppies this year. However, Keevil would like to send their usual generous offering to the British Legion, so we have arranged for poppies to be available with Laura at the Post Office in the Village Hall on Tuesday 27th October and 3rd November, from 2-4pm. In addition, Pauline will be in her porch at 26 Pyatts Corner on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th October, 2-4pm. We hope everyone will support us and give generously…. Pauline
