Welcome back to the BUZZ Roundup – keeping you in touch with village matters during extraordinary times.
And if times could possibly get more extraordinary than they already – along came Friday and a 17-hour power failure across much of the village! As ever though, friends and neighbours came together and looked out for one another, and the village Facebook group helped many of us stay tuned, thanks to everyone who posted updates.
So to cheer you all up, here’s an image from last year’s summer Fete exactly one year ago today! More in the gallery here, and of the cricket that was going on the same day here. What a difference a year makes… !
In other news…
- Folk on the Boat 2021 – the rescheduled date has had to change, it will now take place on Saturday 26th June 2021. All other arrangements will remain the same, and further details will of course be available nearer the time.
Parish Council matters
The next Parish Council meeting will take place via Zoom on Monday 6th July at 7.30pm.
Members of the public will be able to join the meeting if they register in advance with the Parish Clerk, and any comments must be submitted at least 24 hours beforehand to the clerk, who will read them out. All details are on the agenda: Keevil Parish Council – Agenda for July 6th 2020 Mk2.
