And finally…
In the Buzz Roundup of March 25th, we left you with a sobering and heartfelt message from NHS front line and Keevil village resident Dr Alex Goodwin – Clinical Director of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care Medicine and Pain Services at RUH Bath. Alex has been incredibly supportive viz Covid-19 content here at the website, and we leave you this time with his sincere message of thanks to you all…
On behalf of all my colleagues on the front-line of the NHS I would like to thank Keevil for the many kind messages and for the astonishing demonstration of support for key workers on Thursday evenings. We have all been extremely touched by this.
More importantly, I feel we must thank you all for listening to and following the national guidelines. Adherence to the lockdown has, without doubt, flattened the curve and allowed the NHS to cope and that is entirely down to each and every one of our neighbours that the local healthcare community has not been totally overwhelmed as initially predicted.
We have seen sadness and success and in these interesting times at the RUH we are coming to terms with a new normal that involves PPE and risk. Slowly we are trying to get routine services back online, but there still remains the threat of a second surge which we have to be aware of.
So thank you all again and as the new strapline states “stay alert”.
With best wishes
Alex Goodwin

Dear Sarah, Many thanks for this.
Could I please ask that going forwards, this “Buzz” makes it clear that the link for planning comments leads the contributor to the Wiltshire Council portal only. The Village Council planning process is completely separate, and comments made to Wiltshire Council will not be communicated to the village planning meeting by the village clerk.
If villagers want their comments to be heard by the village councillors at their planning meeting, then a separate set of comments need to be sent to the village clerk.
Many thanks, (keep up the great work),
