“Open the Book” comes to St Leonard’s Sunday 4th October 2026
Open the Book(OtB) is an exciting storytelling project where Bible stories are shared with people in a way that is fun, interactive and memorable.
This Sunday the St James and St Leonard’s OtB will be acting out the story of Gideon and the Midianites. The story tells how the weakest man, from the weakest family won the battle with God’s help. We look forward to sharing the story with you at St Leonard’s at 9.15am.
On a separate note, are there any “actors or would be actors” in the village who would like to join the OtB team? It involves up to 3 days, 6 times a year, and no experience. Kim and David have just joined the group, and we have found it very enjoyable. We were involved in 2 out of the last 3 days. If yes, please let Kim know.
