Buzz has been asked to publish the following notice from the newly formed Keevil Emergency Group:
Members of Keevil Parish Council, Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) and the Emergency Planning Officer have joined together to form the Keevil Emergency Group.
A leaflet outlining the help available to any resident who is self isolating for any reason, or has been diagnosed with Coronavirus will be circulated shortly alongside an existing planned NHW communication and will be delivered by your NHW sector Co-ordinator.
Anyone able to volunteer for various tasks, such as shopping, prescription collection, library runs or telephone social calling will be asked to register their details. Volunteers should be assured that a strict “No Contact” policy will be adopted, such as leaving shopping on the doorstep and stepping back while the shopping is taken in by the resident.
The aim is to ensure that all residents who need help at this difficult time can be assured that help is available. Many people however have their own social network to rely on for help and nothing in this plan should alter that.
It is not the intention of the Keevil Emergency Group to provide any medical advice, updates are always available on TV and radio, and a list of useful websites are listed below:
