It looks like the road closure work outside Beech Cottage might not now go ahead for a while – however there may be some works (that will only involve a traffic light system, not road closure) outside Blagden House early next week. We’ll keep you posted!

Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Urgent Closure of: C218 Main Street (Part), Keevil
WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 30th November 2020, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out replacement of culvert to avoid flooding.
C218 (part), Keevil; for a distance of approximately 50m outside No.14.
Alternative route: via C218 (unaffected length) – C20 – A361 – A350 – C218 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 30th November 2020 and are anticipated to be required for 3 days. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
