Yes, the annual tidy-up of Keevil’s roads and approaches is going ahead on Saturday 14th March – we’ll meet at 9.30am at the Village Hall for a briefing and then split into groups. Bring your own gloves and wear suitable footwear.
Each year, as part of the Great British Spring Clean, our Community Shed organises willing villagers for a great big litter-pick of Keevil’s roadsides, verges and approaches – and you’d be surprised at what we find!
This year looked in some doubt for a while due to changes in rubbish collection policy for the event at Wiltshire Council, however they have now agreed a ‘one day only’ pick-up, so we’ll go ahead on the Saturday nearest to that pick-up day.
We will cover our usual route with limits of Wick cross-roads, A361 at Baldham and A350 at Cold Harbour, dumping the ‘pile’ at Coldharbour cross-roads.
