Welcome back to the BUZZ Roundup – a quick update of anything that’s changed on our village website recently and a reminder of events coming up soon.
Saturday’s weather was perfect for our annual litterpick of parish verges as part of the Great British Spring Clean, and many villagers happily turned out to help. Sorry we forgot to take a picture of everyone before the teams headed out! Also, Paul’s article on the results of the Apple Press Survey is now online here, plus a link to a dashboard of results and comments (which you can also go straight to here).
There have been a couple of alerts recently from the excellent Wiltshire Community Messaging system (sign up here if you’re not already) which are probably worth a mention: last week’s Horse Watch newsletter also contained some useful information on illegal hare coursing, and earlier was this timely reminder about the dangers of fire in thatched properties.

- You know we love a Quiz Night, especially when it’s run by and in aid of the one and only Keevil Cricket Club! Next one coming up very soon on 12th April in the village hall – make sure you don’t miss it! Details on the link or here on Facebook.
- The walking group are warming up to get the best of spring, with Isobel’s ramble around Horningsham & Longleat on 25th April, Tony & Rachel’s ramble around Downside Abbey on 2nd May, and the inaugural Keevil Bimblers bimble on 21st May…

Keevil Parish Council Objected on three grounds – adverse street scene, Conservation Area, Area of Minimum Change – and ask the application to be ‘called in’ before the Western Area Planning Committee.
