Welcome back to the BUZZ Roundup – a quick update of anything that’s changed on our village website recently and a reminder of events coming up soon.
The Keevil Ramblers has some smashing walks lined up for the new year, details for January and February on the Walking page – but don’t miss out on Bryan Banfield’s lovely stroll around Calne this Wednesday 12th December give him a call if you’re going as he needs to confirm lunch numbers to the Westbrook.
The Drama Group production of OUTSIDE EDGE was a sell-out success – a lot of hard work went into this one but it paid off in spades (or should that be cricket bats?) and everything was terrific on the nights. Fantastic job everyone involved, we are so lucky to have such talented and committed performers in our village! A selection of images are up on the page, more will come once yours truly has some down time to process them 🙂
Don’t forget…
- The most important shopping day of the year is imminent, YES, it’s the the Village Christmas Shopping Evening this Thursday 6th December from 7pm in the village hall – there is so much on offer here, do come and support local traders and catch up with friends over a glass of wine. Limited edition KEEVIL CHRISTMAS CARDS will be available, and there are some awesome raffle prizes on offer! 🙂
- This Saturday 8th December there is a Children’s Activity Morning held in Keevil School – any school age child living in Keevil can go and they can take a friend – follow the link for details.
And finally…
- Making absolutely NO apologies for being a dedicated STRICTLY fan, I (that’s Sarah, frankly Bob comes out in a rash every time we dah-dah the theme tune) am fit to burst that we have an official Strictly Mama in Keevil and her boy is through to the semi-finals! Make sure you’re voting for Joe Sugg on Saturday, he’s practically family!
That’s all for now folks! Do encourage your family, friends and neighbours to FOLLOW THE BUZZ too!
Bob & Sarah
Thank you all so much for all the support for Joe . I shall be making my way up to Elstree on Saturday to lend my motherly support and no doubt shed many a tear of pride.
Fingers crossed for team Joanne 😆
