Parish Matters

Thanks to everyone who helped make the ANNUAL PARISH COMMUNITY MEETING at the end of May such an excellent event – draft minutes are on the page. Next up will be the Parish Council meeting on Monday 6th July, 7:30pm in the village hall.

We are looking for amazing people to join the Parish Council

Pat Tucker has retired after serving five fabulous years, and Robert Morgan has stepped back due to work pressures… so we have vacancies. It doesn’t matter if you have no experience – training is available. What matters is that you care about our village life, and are engaged in some small way with our community.

To stand for co-option, read the information at keevilparishcouncil.gov.uk/get-involved, fill in the application form, and send it to the Clerk. That’s it.

And finally…

We been asked to publish the following message…

Pete Gardner, Geoff West’s brother-in-law, sadly died recently. With Grace, he was well known to many here in Keevil – a regular fixtures on walks and at village events.

Pete’s funeral is on Monday 22nd June 11.30am at Semington Crematorium, followed by a wake at the Rising Sun, Bowden Hill, Lacock. All who knew Pete are welcome.

… here with some of the Keevil Walkers in 2019 on the Wilton walk led by Geoff.
