Temporary Closure of: B3098 Westbury Road (Part), Edington (Ref: TTRO 5025)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
B3098 Westbury Road (Part), Edington; from its junction with Greater Lane to a point
approximately 35m southwest of its junction with Longlands Close.
To enable: Barden Network to clear blockages in duct on behalf of BT.
Alternative routes:
HGVs: via B3098 (unaffected length) – C40 Cheverell Road – A360 – A361 – A350 – C184
Watergates – B3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
All other traffic: via B3098 (unaffected length) – A360 – A361 – A350 – C184 Watergates –
B3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 23 November 2017 and it is anticipated that the
closure will be required daily between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30 until 27 November 2017. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
