Community Volunteer
We are looking for a Community Emergency Volunteer…
Back in 2008, with encouragement from Wiltshire Council, the Parish Council appointed a volunteer to draw up and maintain a Community Emergency Response Plan. The Plan was last revised in 2020, and we are looking for someone to work closely with our volunteer Flood Wardens and Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator and help us bring it up to date.
This is not onerous by any means, but it’s a vital part of our village resilience that can make a real difference in those rare times of need. If you’ve got an eye for detail, a few spare hours, and can manage a spreadsheet, get in touch with the Parish Clerk Sarah Dow who will arrange a chat with our resilience voluteers: clerk@keevilparishcouncil.gov.uk. There is a role description here: keevilparishcouncil.gov.uk/get-involved/volunteer-roles/
And finally
Photos from the excellent Boogie@Blagden are up on the website here – thanks again to the Goodwins and everyone on the Fun Committee for a terrific evening!
That’s all for now folks – find us on Facebook for real-time discussions on Keevil Village, marketplace on For Sale, Free or Wanted in Keevil, or wander down memory lane on Keevil Memories… thank you for all your support, and if you have any news, pictures or stories to share, don’t hesitate to get in touch
