Christmas dates are coming in fast – check your excellent Parish News plus the listings on the home page and full details on the Christmas & New Year page of the village website. One thing you won’t find in the magazine (because we forgot to agree who would send it to Pat, doh!) is the cracking New Years Eve Dinner Dance we’ve got lined up – make sure you get your seat booked!

Talking of things that got forgot, the Walking Group is is planning a brilliant walk around RAMSBURY on Wednesday 20th November, passing Littlecote House and stopping to look at the Roman villa with an impressive mosaic floor, and with lunch at The Horseshoe, Mildenhall. Full deets on the page, book in with Barbara if you’d like to join in.

- Bookworms! The Mobile Library returns to Stocks Green today Monday 4th November 10:35-10:55am;
- Love a bit of cake with your cuppa? Tuesday 5th November it’s FIRST TUESDAY – time for a catch-up with friends and neighbours in the village hall 2.30–4pm, Post Office should be open too;
- Breakfast in Church is back on Saturday 9th November from 9-11am, come along for a sausage or bacon bap and a chat, all the profits go to our Church Restoration Fund;
- ‘Come and Dine on Cheese and Wine @ Willow House’, Pat’s fundraiser for Wiltshire Air Ambulance on Saturday 9th November from 7pm – do let her know if you’re going…
- Next Sunday 10th November is of course REMEMBRANCE, gathering at the War Memorial at 10.50am for the short service of Remembrance, followed by a service in Church for those who wish to join it;
- The WI are crafting Christmas decorations at their meeting on Wednesday 13th November at 7.30pm;
- Sparkling wines are on the menu at this month’s Keevil Wine Appreciation Club on 15th November – perfect time for a spot of fizz!
- Deadline for the next Parish News is Thursday 21st November at 5pm – don’t forget to get your articles in for both December and January news!
- And make sure to get your seats booked for the Drama Group’s swansong MURDER MYSTERY production of Adieu Adieu on 23rd November 7.30pm in the village hall including a light meal and dessert – deets on the page.

Parish Matters
The Parish Council Meeting this evening Monday 4th November will start at the earlier time of 7pm so that residents can discuss matters relating to the Coronation Commemorative Plaque in an extended Public Forum – agenda is here along with a briefing paper. Councillors will also discuss this years S137 donations and the next financial year’s budget, more at keevilpc.com/notices/
