Harvest Supper 2024
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the hearty bowls of home-made soup, followed by a well stocked Cheeseboard, pickles and French bread Ploughman’s buffet, and some delicious home-made desserts! The ‘IDIOT’S QUIZ’ kept us all amused, prayers and the traditional Harvest Hymn reminded us of the importance of this time of year, and Lucy from Woody’s Legend Dairy at Woodhouse Farm gave us a riveting insight into modern farming. Then came the – in some cases utterly unforgettable! – entertainment… 🙂
Harvest Supper 2022: Our first Harvest supper in three years, we were delighted to welcome our new Rector Jake Eggertsen and his lovely wife Nicola. After a fabulous supper of shepherds pie rounded off with a selection of scrumptious desserts and coffee served up by Geoff West and Debbie Meatyard, an evening of amusing anecdotes, poetry and song led by our choir and others. Thanks a million to everyone who contributed, a total of £740.50 was raised for church funds.
Harvest Supper 2019: Another enjoyable evening raised £550 towards church funds, Debbie and Geoff thank everyone who came along, contributed and helped.
Harvest Supper 2018: It was good to give thanks to all our local farmers, and celebrate together as only Keevilians know how! Some images of the evening by Sarah Dow
Harvest Supper 2017: Harvest over for another year, and as usual the Supper in the village hall was the highlight 🙂 Here are a couple of image stills taken from the video Terry Sullivan captured of the evening….
