Friday 12th December CHRISTMAS PUB NIGHT

The doors of The George will be open to all again on Friday 12th December 6.30-11pm in the village hall – licenced bar with Three Daggers Real Ale, lager, cider, wines… and soft drinks come free when making a bar purchase. Traditional pub games, complimentary mince pies, families very welcome, cash or card…

Tuesday 23rd December CAROL SINGING AROUND THE VILLAGE

 Starting from St Leonard’s Church at 6pm on Tuesday 23rd December – wrap up warm and bring a torch!


NEW YEAR 2026…

Saturday 17th January WINTER WARMER COFFEE MORNING

The St Leonard’s Flower Arranging team will be holding their annual New Year Winter Warmer Coffee Morning on Saturday 17th January 10 – 12 noon in Keevil Village Hall. Admission £5 which includes unlimited tea, coffee and cake! There will also be a Bring’n’Buy stall, a Craft Table for children, and of course a raffle.

Saturday 31st January NEW YEAR SOUP & PUD LUNCH

There’s no Breakfast at the Church in January, but do come lift your spirits and warm the cockles of your heart with friends and neighbours at the annual SOUP & PUD LUNCH on Saturday 31st January from 12 noon in the village hall 

There will be a selection of homemade soups and puddings, all washed down with a tea or coffee, for the bargain price of £12.50 per head (all profits go to the Church Restoration Fund). You can bring your own drinks if you wish to supplement your lunch. There will also be a raffle. Tickets available from Geoff West 01380 870425 or g.west3@pobroadband.co.uk

28th November 6.30pm LAUNCH OF ADVENT

The WI invite everyone to celebrate the start of Advent on Friday 28th November from 6.30pm at Birch Cottage on Pyatts Corner ……come along and enjoy special mulled wine and mince pies. There will be Christmas treats for children with surprises hidden in Trixie the Advent Pixie’s pockets. Everyone is welcome! See here for Advent galleries from previous years…

2nd December Christmas 1st TUESDAY TEAS

Join us on Tuesday 2nd December from 2.30 to 4.00pm in the village hall for festive refreshment and lively chat. The more, the merrier! Enjoy a warming mug of mulled wine with mince pies, stollen and other festive treats. (Tea and coffee will also be available). Chat with friends you know and friends you don’t yet know. Bring good cheer and a gold coin donation!

6th December CHRISTMAS COFFEE MORNING

There will be Cakes and Bring’n’Buy stalls, a Raffle (of course!) and enough tea, coffee and mince pies to sink a sleigh! 10-12 noon in the village hall on Saturday 6th December, all in aid of the everyday upkeep of St Leonard’s Church.

7th December SWITCH ON CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTS

The lights on the village Christmas Tree will be switched on at 4.30pm on Sunday 7th December. Come and join Father Christmas for carol singing, mulled wine and mince pies, and don’t forget the star included with your Parish News to hang on the tree! Donations for refreshments go to Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance.
