SAFARI SALE FOR “CHARITIES OF CHOICE”
POSTPONED due to latest COVID restrictions coming into force Monday 14th September
SATURDAY 19th SEPTEMBER 11am – 3pm
It’s amazing what ideas you can conjure up over a pot of socially-distanced Earl Grey!
Janice Maskrey and Rachel Howe are organising the above event to run from 11am until 3pm, as a way of keeping the village alive, a chance for us to make up for all those lost opportunities to socialise and to raise money for good causes.
The idea is to sell anything legal (no livestock though) from your garage/front garden and give a percentage of your takings to a charity of your own choice.
There will be simple maps of the village showing where the sales are happening and these will be available on the day from either 24 Main Street or Little Martins, 69a Martins Road, Keevil. All we ask is that you register your sale so that we can include your household on the maps. Unfortunately latecomers won’t be included on the maps but can still take part if they wish. Maps will cost 50p each and proceeds from these sales will also go to charity.
The event will be for Keevil villagers and advertised in Bulkington, Great Hinton and Steeple Ashton only.
COVID-19 social-distancing and hygiene safety advice is to be adhered to and will be the responsibility of individuals. Please bring your own shopping bags, wear a mask if you want, have your hand sanitiser in your pocket, and enjoy the novel experience!
If you would like to take part in selling and in order to be included on the map please contact either Janice (870438) or Rachel (870661) by the deadline of MONDAY 14TH SEPTEMBER at 5pm.
Let’s hope that it’s a good weather day (it will go ahead anyway!) and that there are plenty of buyers as well as sellers!
