Every sixth year a completely new Church Electoral Roll is prepared and 2019 is the year for this to take place.

Pat Bartholomew will be circulating forms to those people already on the Roll but if if your name is not on the current Roll and you would like to be included please get in touch and she can let you have an application form.

To apply, below is a brief outline of eligibility, but if you require further information please let Pat know.

  • You will need to be baptized and aged 16 or over (those who become 16 during the next 12 months may complete the form, and become eligible to be entered on the Roll on their sixteenth birthday).

Also:

  • You should be a member of the Church of England (or of a Church in communion with the Church of England) and a resident in the Parish.
  • OR Be a member of the Church of England (or of a Church in communion with the Church of England) and, not being resident in the parish, have habitually attended public worship in the parish during the period of six months prior to enrolment.
  • OR Be a member in good standing of a Church (not in communion with the Church of England) which subscribes to the doctrine of the Holy Trinity and also declare yourself to be a member of the Church of England and have habitually attended public worship in the parish during the period of six months prior to enrolment.

Forms should be returned to Pat Bartholomew by 17th March 2019 at the very latest. The new Roll will come into operation at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting on 7th April 2019
